Popular on matchdays but does have plenty of seating and is well staffed at the bar.
There is a rear bar with a pool table and a front bar which also has a conservatory area.
Food is served from noon. The menu is quite large, mainly specialising in grills and burgers, but also other pub food and desserts. Food is slow to come out of the kitchen though, sometimes getting close to an hour, so order early. Cheaper "footie butties" (chips/sausage/bacon sandwiches, basic burgers) are also available.
