Doesn't really do anything special for match days but provides a more relaxed meeting place for those wanting food away from the crush of pubs closer to the ground.
Always shows the live sport on a variety of screens and televisions and welcomes shirts of all colours as long as away fans keep it friendly.
Always plenty of staff so service is quick and being a student pub prices are low.
Food is hit and miss but for the price it's hard to beat - think along the same lines of a Weatherspoons but with better chips. Sadly the excellent beer and burger deal doesn't start until 3 - surely an opportunity missed.
Having no strong allegiance to City makes the atmosphere welcoming for fans on their own and those worried about pubs nearer to the ground with reputations.
