Message board user Toby1956 suggests that for a McDonald's: travel along the A63 towards the city. When you get to B and Q on your right take the exit. Turn right at the roundabout and McDonalds is on your right. When you have finished go back one junction to use the park and ride. Other outlets are also located around the city.
Two recommended restaurants in the Old Town, about 2½ miles from the stadium, are Cooks Endeavour (nominated by board user tigers010273) and Old Custom House. You are advised to phone ahead to book and check opening times. Ayutthaya Thai Restaurant on Jameson Street in the town centre has an inexpensive lunchtime menu and half-price meals between 5-7pm. The Boars Nest is also highly recommended, and can be found 1½ miles away on Princes Avenue.
Most pubs near to the ground are for home fans only, but others in the city centre are open to away fans. The Punch Hotel, not far at all from the train station, is a pub with great food and more shoppers and locals than Hull City fans. More information on pubs can be found by clicking here.
If you're looking for a hot drink, there are several coffee shops on Princes Avenue and Newland Avenue, as well as the usual chains in the town centre.
