"Life long, born & bred supporter and chairman of the 'Unofficial Afghanistan Hull City Supporters Club'. I am currently posted to Afghanistan with the US Army, many of who now support Hull City. When I arrived at work this morning they were 'whooping it up' to quote the Yanks. Unfortunately, I have not been at game since the early / mid seventies but have always promoted the team where ever I have served in the world." - Jamie

"I spent several hours on the Friday before making that flag, before making the journey from London. I had the words on the other side "ALMOST UP" to back myself up. I had the flag up in the stadium throughout the match listening to the other results and by the time the penalty was missed I knew we were up so I changed the flag around just before and then we missed it but it was all over." - Paul
