Appleby Set for Debut

Ian Ashbee - begins two-game ban after picking up 10 yellow cards

The midfielder has been ruled out of league action since being signed by Jan Molby from Kidderminster in the summer due to injury but is set to come into the side in place of Ian Ashbee, who misses out on playing his old side because of a two-game suspension.

Meanwhile, John Anderson has completed his one-match ban and may be recalled to the side, though it is anyone's guess as to what defence Peter Taylor puts out after naming a back 5 last week at Scunthorpe.

City have failed to sign a new striker in time for the game with a move for David Reeves on hold, so Jamie Forrester and Daniel Webb are likely to continue their partnership.
