Ashbee Adds To Injury Problems

He's struggling with an injury picked up in training, and the central midfielder could sit out a league game for only the second time this season if he doesn't recover in time.

Richard Hinds or Andy Holt could fill in for the 27-year-old, while Lee Marshall could make the switch from right-back to midfield. Centre back Damien Delaney has also filled the role before, as have youngsters Steve Burton, Simon Russell and Russell Fry.

With Jason Price and Alton Thelwell already definitely ruled out, some of City's fringe players are set to be called into action.
