Dagenham & Redbridge's 3-0 win against Chester today was in vein, as they finished 2nd. Though the Daggers have the same number of points as Boston their goal difference is far inferior, and with only one going up to the Football League they will have to fight it out in non-league again next year.
However, it is expected that '2 up 2 down' will be in place next season, where two get relegated from Division 3 and two come up from the Conference. It is predicted to be given the go ahead when it goes to the vote in June.
