However, even though their futures are almost certainly not at the club, Brian Little says that while they are still contracted to Hull City they will be in contention to play.
He said: "At the moment, Theo and Ian are here and are part of this club. Until that changes they are available for selection like all the other players. If I feel they should be in the side, then I will pick them.
"Theo is trying his best while Ian is as frustrated as anyone with the progress of his injury.
"At the end of the day, all I'm trying to do is win games of football and I will continue to pick what I feel is the right team from the players we have available."
