The 25-year-old utility player has signed a one-month loan deal from West Brom to Hull City.
He will go straight into Peter Taylor's squad for the trip to Cheltenham Town tomorrow, and the City boss has lots of options of how he could fit in. The former Norwich and Leicester player could start in central midfield alongside Ian Ashbee with Stuart Green or Ryan France on right wing in Jason Price's absence. Marshall could even go straight in for Price with no other changes, although right wing isn't a familiar position for him.
He has played at right back before which would allow Richard Hinds to start in midfield alongside Ashbee as he did at Darlington a fortnight ago.
However, as the ex-England Under-21 will be unfamiliar with the rest of his new team-mates who have won their last five games, he may be named as a substitute instead.
He will also be with City for the four following games, culminating in the home game against Torquay, before he returns to the Baggies.
