Chairman Adam Pearson said: "Negotiations have gone very well and provided there are no last minute deals to buy the stadium outright, I don't see there will be any problems."
An offer have been put in to rent Boothferry Park for at least 12 months. However, Pearson has ruled out buying the ground.
