The 25-year-old is due to return to the Hawthorns after tomorrow's game against Torquay. However, with City's mounting injury problems, Peter Taylor is desperate to keep the services of the utility player for at least another two months.
Marshall himself is also keen to keep playing for the Tigers: "I want to stay here and Hull want me so hopefully it will be sorted," he said.
"The end of the season would tempt me but I'd be happy just to take it month-by-month. Personally, I don't want to go back to West Brom if I can help it. I don't want to be there and the manager doesn't want me there, so what's the point?"
He added that he would be "willing to have a look at next season" if City made a permanent offer to end his nightmare spell with the Albion.
