Club Inform Fans Of Duke Illness

City have been without a keeper on the bench for the last two games, and Phil Brown revealed after Saturday's game that Duke's absence was due to a long term illness.

A statement from the chairman on the club's official website says that the 30-year-old underwent surgery on 5th January and is now recovering and awaiting test results.

Duke has made 4 appearances this season and 11 in total since joining from Burton Albion in 2004.

We, of course, hope to see Matt Duke make a full and speedy recovery.
