Last week, fellow centre back Sam Collins was loaned to Swindon, with Phil Brown hoping to buy Middlesbrough's Andrew Davies. Southampton and Norwich are also thought to be interested in the defender though.
Brown has also admitted he's open to offers for Michael Bridges after the return to fitness of Dean Windass and Henrik Pedersen proving his ability in front of goal with a brace against Ipswich on Saturday.
