The Tigers defender sustained a knee injury last month and has missed the last four matches.
Hull's first-team physio Liam McGarry told the club's official website: "He's progressing really well. He's pushing on in the gym and hopefully we can get him back into training in late October or early November.
"He'll have a couple of weeks of non-contact training to do and then we'll push him into full contact training before probably getting a reserve team game out of him before he gets back into first-team action."
Midfielders Paul McKenna (calf) and Tom Cairney (hamstring) and goalkeeper Adriano Basso (knee) hope to return to full training in time to be in contention for the game at Brighton after the international break.
