Price, whose City contract runs out in the summer, had wanted to stay and fight for a new deal, and has forced himself back into Peter Taylor's plans. He's started the last 8 games, but Taylor is only prepared to offer a one-year extension.
He can secure a longer term deal at Doncaster, and is set to make the switch for a small fee today. He could make his debut against Blackpool tonight.
The 28-year-old has started 12 games and come on 5 times since City got promoted to the Championship, scoring three goals. He was a member of the side that got the two promotions, playing 84 games in all and scoring 16 goals since joining on a free transfer from Tranmere in 2003.
Peter Taylor looks likely to move into the transfer market to replace him. Ryan France is the only recognised right winger still at the club, though players like Stuart Green, Craig Fagan and Scott Wiseman could be tried there in the interim.
