Dudfield Under Surgeon's Knife

Dudfield has been carrying the injury since last season, and now that Stuart Elliott is back in action City have enough cover to spare themselves of the former Leicester City man.

The 22-year-old is expected to be out for at least four weeks while he recovers from surgery.

Meanwhile Mike Edwards is also likely to be out of action until the end of the month. He suffered an ankle injury after only 13 minutes of his third start of the season on Saturday.
