Striker Webb and right-back Regan have joined Cambridge and Chester respectively on month-long loan deals. Webb made his debut last night, earning United a penalty as they beat Northampton 2-1, while Regan played in Chester's 5-1 win over Tamworth this afternoon.
It's been revealed that the pair are on the transfer list as their services are no longer required at the KC Stadium, and the club are hopeful that the loan deals will become permanent transfers. City are not thought to be seeking a transfer fee for either.
Alan Fettis and Ryan Williams - currently on loan to Sheffield United and Bristol Rovers respectively - are also up for transfer.
Meanwhile, following loan spells at Stockport and Carlisle this season, Harrogate Town could be wantaway defender Shaun Smith's next destination, although a move hasn't been finalised yet.
City currently have 29 professionals on their books, and want to move on such reserve players to reduce the wagebill.
