The left winger joined Doncaster on loan at the end of the January transfer window. He started once and made 9 substitute appearances, but did not feature in the play-off success.
When his Hull City contract expires at the end of June he will begin a new two-year deal with Doncaster, playing in the Championship in 2008/09.
The Northern Ireland international still lives in East Yorkshire and will continue his Christian work in Hull.
On Tuesday, York City announced the signing of Ben Wilkinson to a one-year contract. The 21-year-old son of Howard Wilkinson failed to make the Tigers' first team. He scored whilst playing as a trialist for York's reserve side in January before joining Gretna on loan until the end of the season. He will link up with fellow ex-Tigers Mark Greaves and Russell Fry for the Minstermen in the Blue Square Premier division.
