Sheffield United and Hull were charged following a mass confrontation between players during the fixture between the clubs at Bramall Lane on Boxing Day.
The Blades face a second charge of mass confrontation, along with Norwich, following their game on Tuesday.
All three clubs have been given until 5 January to respond to the charges.
Sheffield United midfielder Andy Reid has also been charged with violent conduct following the clash at Carrow Road and has until 1800 GMT on Friday, 31 December to reply to the charge.
Under the FA's fast-track regulations he can admit the charge and accept a standard three-match suspension.
