Holt has been at Hull City for the last 3 years after being bought for £150,000 from Oldham Athletic. However, he has been in and out of the team during his time here, making 35 starts and 26 substitute appearances, in addition to the 10 starts he made during a loan spell prior to his move.
However, the 26-year-old, who can play either on the left wing or at left back, is now set to move on for regular first team football. He says the decision to move isn't for financial reasons and said that the club have been "very good" to him.
He could even line up against the Tigers this season, with fellow League One sides Bristol City and Wrexham both showing interest. Bury are also among the clubs after the Stockport-born player.
