King Joins On Busy Day For City

King has joined on a season-long loan after on-going problems finalising his departure from Wigan. He has been given the number 23 shirt and is available for Saturday's game against Fulham, but will miss both games against the Latics this season.
Gardner, who was also with City on loan, has now made the move permanent. City pay Tottenham £2.5m for the centre back, who signs a three-year deal. His boss, Brown, is set to do likewise.
Meanwhile, City remain in the hunt for Fraizer Campbell, and have offered to bring him back to the club on loan.
