The midfielder has go to Scarborough on a month's loan after a lack of fitness and the form of other players has kept him out of the first team this season.
Meanwhile, Mike Price has gone to Bournemouth on trial and David Lee has signed for Brighton in exchange for Seagulls defender Matthew Wicks.
Lee said of leaving for the Withdean Stadium: "I enjoyed my time with the club even though the football side of things was a bit disappointing for me.
"They're a great bunch of lads and I'm sad to leave them behind because we all got on well and everyone had settled into the area, myself included.
"But the Brighton move is a good one for me and hopefully I can start playing regular football again."
Lee won't make his debut for Albion until next weekend, however. Peter Taylor is choosing not to put him straight into the side for tomorrow's game, while he is Cup-tied on Tuesday.
Taylor said of the 21-year-old: "He is a good addition to the squad. He can go on and become a very good player."
