He was due to make his fourth and final appearance for City against Torquay tomorrow. However, the 25-year-old will now stay for a further two months. He will then return to the Hawthorns prior to City's final two games of the season unless another extension is agreed.
Marshall's time with the Baggies has been unhappy after a falling out with manager Gary Megson has allowed him just 4 league starts since his £700,000 move from Leicester. He previously had more successful spells with Norwich, where he came through the youth ranks and gained international recognition with a call-up by the England Under-21 coach Peter Taylor, and then Leicester, where Taylor again acquired his services in a £600,000 transfer.
His appearances for City have so far all been at right-back, but previously in his career he's been more accustomed to playing at centre back or in midfield.
