A week after the previous double-signing of Seyi Olofinjana and Jozy Altidore - who was granted a work permit on Monday - City do so again today at a press conference to unveil Hunt's and Ghilas's moves from Reading and Celta Vigo respectively.
Republic of Ireland international left winger Hunt has cost the club £3.5m and has been assigned the number 11 shirt, worn by Bryan Hughes for the past two years. That adds to doubts over Hughes's future at the club after spending little time in the first team last season.
Both Hunt and Algeria international striker Ghilas have signed four-year contracts.
Henri Camara has not been kept on after having a trial with the club and playing in Sunday's defeat to Aberdeen.
