Experienced winger Peter Beagrie ruled himself out earlier in the week with a calf injury.
Former Hull City forward Martin Carruthers remains absent through injury. Brian Laws has been trying to sign a striker on loan recently, but is unsure of whether he'll have anyone in time for the Humberside derby.
He said: "I would like to have him in in time for tomorrow but it is not a life or death situation and it won't affect the way we are going to play. I am prepared to wait until tomorrow's noon deadline to finalise things but if it doesn't happen tomorrow, then hopefully it will next week."
Wayne Graves and Jamie McCombe picked up injuries in midweek and are doubtful, while Northern Ireland international Patrick McGibbon faces a fitness test.
Centre back Nigel Pepper returns to the squad following a broken leg. A place on the bench is probable.
33-year-old defender Carl Bradshaw also returns after being suspended over an internal matter.
Iron boss Brian Laws can't wait for the chance to show what his side can do.
He said: "This is another massive game for both clubs and it is one we are really looking forward to. Most of our best expressive football has come away from home in recent weeks.
No Fresh Worries for Iron
"Playing against the better teams has also seemed to bring out the best in us. Obviously there is going to be a big crowd at Boothferry Park and it is going to be a cracking atmosphere. It is going to be a big occasion for our young side
"Some of our away support this season has been fantastic and I am sure it will be again tomorrow. All I would urge our fans is to steer clear of trouble and get behind the team. Let the players try and do the talking on the field.
"The important thing is that we go there and don't get beat, but we have players in our side who are capable of winning it, and that is what we will be trying to do."
