Ben Burgess - ended his goal drought but still ended on losing side
City - with Jason Price playing up front in Jamie Forrester's absence, and Ryan France starting on the right wing - got off to the perfect start. France crossed and Ben Burgess thumped a header past Kevin Miller with just 4 minutes on the clock.

However, despite dominating the early proceedings, the Tigers couldn't hold on to their lead and were pegged back in the 33rd minute. Ryan Williams - on loan to Rovers from Hull City - beat Marc Joseph and crossed into the box. Paul Musselwhite failed to claim it, and Junior Agogo may have got a touch to see it into the goal.

The winner came 3 minutes from time. Although Williams' inswinging corner wasn't well-taken, Agogo beat the City defenders to it and finished left-footed at the near post.

City - who were sitting at the top of the table less than two weeks ago - now drop out of the top three altogether thanks to the 2-1 defeat, and are ahead of 5th placed Yeovil on goal difference only.

City line-up (4-4-2): Musselwhite; Hinds, Joseph, Delaney, Dawson; France, Ashbee, Green (Keates 73), Elliott (Holt 73); Price, Burgess.
Un-used subs: Fettis, Whittle, Webb.
