Austin, 21, has become hot property since signing from non-league Poole last October, scoring 20 goals in 38 appearances in his debut season, while his 14 this term in just 20 outings have dismissed any fears he may have been just a one-season wonder.
But Swindon are determined to hold onto him and have been discussing another new and extended contract over recent months.
Therefore it comes as no surprise that Hull - among other clubs - are keen to secure his services or indeed that Town have rejected the Championship club`s advances out of hand.
Chairman Andrew Fitton told the Swindon Advertiser: "Hull City made an offer for Charlie Austin 48 hours ago and it was immediately rejected.
"Charlie Austin is not for sale. We are close to Charlie and his agent and we discuss the best for his future and I am sure he's in complete agreement."
