Defeat yesterday leaves City six points off a play-off place with five games left to play, but have the opportunity to get that game out of their heads with the visit to Cheltenham tomorrow.
Caretaker boss Billy Russell - who could be managing the Tigers for the last time - said: "Losing at home on Saturday was disappointing but the boys have to pick themselves up and go again.
"Making the play-offs is a tough task for us now but until it becomes mathematically impossible for us to achieve that then I'd expect us to carry on fighting.
"Cheltenham are a big, physical side so it'll be a different sort of game to the Darlington one but there's no reason why we can't get a result."
Julian Johnsson is expected to return to the side. Either David Norris or Ryan Williams will be dropped.
Adrian Caceres also comes out of the team. He went off with a knock yesterday, so Kyle Lightbourne is expected to make his second start alongside Gary Alexander, who got his 23rd goal of the season against Darlington.
Matt Wicks, Ian Goodison and Lawrie Dudfield are still out, though Rodney Rowe will be hoping to play. He has scored just twice this season, and with his contract up at the end of the season he must force himself into the reckoning to earn a new deal.
Expected line-up (4-4-2): Musselwhite; Petty, Whittle, Greaves, Van Blerk; Johnsson, Sneekes, Norris, Philpott; Alexander, Lightbourne.
Subs from: Glennon, Edwards, Holt, Matthews, Beresford, Williams, Whitmore, Caceres, Rowe.
