Mike Edwards is ruled out with a knee injury sustained at Kidderminster last week. Russell may hand a debut to his former Youth Team captain Steve Burton in the left-back spot. Andy Holt is also available after returning from a loan spell at Barnsley, while Shaun Smith is touch and go to fully recover from a knock.
Gary Alexander could be recalled to the side after the club announced he will not be leaving. He may partner loanee Michael Branch, who will be making his Boothferry Park debut.
Stuart Elliott will be hoping to play some part in the match as he continues his return from a knee injury, but Lawrie Dudfield is out after undergoing surgery. Gary Bradshaw is expected to get a call-up to the bench in his place.
