Bristol Rovers 1-1 Leyton Orient (attendance: 5,333)
Paul Tait (34th minute) had tapped in to put Rovers ahead, but 10 minutes into the second half they had a man sent off after Ijah Anderson was shown his second yellow card. The visitors made their numerical advantage count when substitute Jabo Ibehre struck late on to take home a point.

Bury 0-0 Hull City (attendance: 3,896)
Hull City had captain Ian Ashbee sent off in injury time as they were held to a second successive draw. Bury become only the second team to keep a clean sheet against the division's top scoring side.

Carlisle United 1-4 Scunthorpe United (attendance: 3,437)
Things are still looking bleak for Carlisle, who suffer their sixth consecutive defeat. Torpey (23), MacLean (51), Sharp (64) and Beagrie (83, penalty) all made the scoresheet for Scunthorpe, while Richie Foran scored a consolation 3 minutes from time.

Cheltenham Town 2-1 Darlington (attendance: 2,745)
Darlington came within seconds of ending a three-match losing streak, but Martin Devaney popped up with a last minute winner for the Robins. Alan Morgan (42) had cancelled out Jamie Victory's 32nd minute goal before half time, before managerless Cheltenham stole all three points late on.

Doncaster Rovers 2-1 Rochdale (attendance: 5,890)
Francis Tierney (2) gave Doncaster an early lead but Rochdale levelled 2 minutes later through Kevin Townson. From then on the visitors were never in the game, and Chris Brown got the winner 15 minutes from time - his 3rd goal in 4 games since signing on loan from Sunderland.

Lincoln City 3-2 Macclesfield Town (attendance: 3,441)
Peter Gain (24) gave Lincoln the lead but Matthew Tipton equalised 10 minutes into the second half. Richard Butcher put Lincoln back in front a minute later, and Macclesfield had Karl Munroe sent off. However, Tipton looked like earning the visitors a draw with a goal 11 minutes from time. But in-form Lincoln forward Francis Green had other ideas, scoring the winner in stoppage time.

Northampton Town 0-1 Kidderminster Harriers (attendance: 4,089)
Sean Parris scored against his old side midway through the first half to give Jan Molby a win in his first game back in the Kidderminster hotseat.

Southend United 0-2 Boston United (attendance: 2,463)
A 9th defeat of the season sees Southend drop into the bottom two, and fans calling for manager Steve Wignal to be sacked. Lee Thompson (59) and Simon Weatherstone (76) were on target for the Pilgrims.

Swansea City 0-2 Cambridge United (attendance: 6,211)
Swansea - without top scorer Lee Trundle - slip to 4th after failing to win again. It was Cambridge's leading marksman Dave Kitson who made the headlines in this match on his return from suspension, scoring in the 1st and 59th minutes to give his side the points. He's now got 8 goals this season, taking his side into the top half of the table.

Torquay United 1-0 Mansfield Town (attendance: 2,773)
Steve Hockley's goal 10 minutes before half time settled the contest between these two play-off hopefuls. David Graham had chances to add to their lead, while Colin Larkin shot wide with a chance to draw level late on.

Yeovil Town 2-1 Huddersfield Town (attendance: 5,274)
Glovers captain Terry Skiverton (4) gave his side the lead early on, but there was little surprise that Jon Stead was the man to equalise minutes before half time with a free kick. However, the home side had the better of the second half after Lee Johnson (51) scored the winner.

York City 2-2 Oxford United (attendance: 3,022)
Oxford missed the chance to catch up with table-topping Hull City after drawing at Bootham Crescent. They had gone in front in the opening stages when York player-manager Chris Brass diverted the ball into his own net, but his side got back into the game when Lee Nogan (37) headed the leveller. Richard Hope met a corner just after the hour mark and they looked set for the win until Oxford substitute Chris Hackett stole a point 5 minutes from time.
