The 19-year-old forward has scored 4 goals in 9 games for City since joining on loan from the Trotters, but has revealed that once the loan spell finishes he will look forward to being a Bolton player again.
He told the HDM: "No-one has said anything to me but I would say the chances of me signing for Hull are slim.
Walters Snubs City
"I'm not being disrespectful and I hope the fans understand why. I signed a three-year contract with Bolton and I'd love to play for them in the Premiership.
"That's not to say I haven't enjoyed it here. Hull's a big club. Everyone has made me feel welcome and the fans are great.
"But I'm 19. I want to see if I can make it in the Premiership. Even if Bolton were prepared to let me leave and Hull wanted me it would mean dropping down three divisions."
