The Jamaican duo are out of contract at the end of the season when they would be allowed to leave on a free transfer.

They have recently rejected new deals and so with their futures not at Hull City, the club have now offered them the chance to go as soon as another side come in for them.

Chairman Adam Pearson said: "Ian and Theo can go. I've spoken to their agent and told him they can talk to other clubs and that we won't be asking for a fee.
"It's not a secret they turned down new contracts. They were improved offers on their existing deals and they were very good offers for players at this level of the game. As far as we are concerned that's it - end of story."

Goodison hasn't played for almost a month due to a thigh injury according to the club, while Whitmore was dropped on Saturday and didn't even make the bench despite being fully fit.

Replacements have already been signed in the form of Matthew Wicks and Richard Sneekes.
