The pair missed the Grimsby match on Wednesday - Elliott because of a virus, Price because of a groin strain - but both are back in training and should play against Boro at the KC Stadium.
However, Peter Taylor has revealed that "there's a couple of muscle-related injuries after the Grimsby game", and Stuart Green is "doubtful" with a hamstring injury. Neil Mann will also drop out of the squad, of course, after appearing for his testimonial against the Mariners.
Meanwhile, Andy Dawson is expected to be out for at least a month with a knee injury. Damien Delaney is expected to resume the left-back place against Middlesbrough.
Goalkeeper Alan Fettis and skipper Justin Whittle will be hoping to start the match as they continue their recovery from knocks.
Greg Strong may be named in the squad again after Peter Taylor revealed he could get the chance to deputise for his injured team-mates. (see full story here)
Expected line-up (4-4-2): Fettis; Thelwell, Whitte, Joseph, Delaney; Price, Ashbee, Keates, Elliott; Allsopp, Burgess.
