In a 70-minute match at Church Road, goals from Dean Marney, Will Atkinson, Michael Turner and Nick Barmby gave City victory.
Plymouth winger Peter Halmosi attended the match, and is expected to conclude a move to Hull City in the coming days. Goalkeeper Tony Warner is also currently training with City while on trial.
