Bohemians forward Glen Crowe, also linked with Luton and Carlisle, is reported to have signed a pre-contract agreement to play in Hull next season.
However, the 24-year-old - born in Dublin on Christmas Day in 1977 - has denied the rumours, thought to have been circulated by his agent Iain Baird:
"That certainly hasn't happened. I've heard nothing of that nature at all. At this stage I'm just waiting to see what my options are."
Crowe began his career in England with Wolves, making his debut in 1995 after being a trainee at Molineux. He only made 10 appearances for the Midlands club, but went on loan to Exeter in 1997 and scored 5 times from 10 starts.
He had a less succesful loan spell at Cardiff, and then went back to Exeter but failed to find the net.
In January '99 he signed for their rivals Plymouth until the end of the season on a free transfer, scoring once from 3 starts and 8 substitute appearances.
Crowe then went to Bohemians of the Eircom league, and took the golden boot last season with 35 goals to his name. He is currently the top scorer this season as well.
