Frozen Pitches Hit Midweek Schedule

Darlington v Cheltenham, Macclesfield v Lincoln, Mansfield v Torquay, Rochdale v Doncaster, Scunthorpe v Carlisle were all postponed.

Cambridge were able to host their game with Swansea as planned. However, they may wish they hadn't after the visitors held on to a 5th minute Izzy Iriekpen lead to win 1-0.

Huddersfield's on-loan forward Pawel Abbott made it three goals in three games for the Terriers. He got their first before Paul Schofield added another two after half time. Darren Way scored a 78th minute consolation for Yeovil as they went down 3-1 at the McAlpine Stadium.

The manager of the month curse hit Northampton boss Colin Calderwood. Dean Keates and Dean Bennett were on target for Kidderminster to put them 2-0 up, and Chris Hargreaves' goal couldn't spark a fightback for the defeated Cobblers.

In the other Third Division match this evening, Leyton Orient and Bristol Rovers drew 1-1. Paul Tait had opened the scoring a minute before half time, but O's forward Jabo Ibehre levelled just after the break.

The results haven't affected the table greatly. Huddersfield edge their noses into fourth place, while Yeovil slip to 7th. Swansea and Northampton swap places and are now 9th and 10th respectively. The most significant movement is of Kidderminster, who climb to 18th and get some breathing space from the relegation zone.

Tomorrow, Boston play Southend while York go to Oxford. On Friday, Doncaster are at the Vetch Field to take on Swansea.
