Take My Hand

Hold on tight because this has all the makings of a roller coaster ride of a football season. Any Hull City fan worth their salt will tell you that you need a strong constitution and a good sense of humour to follow the Tigers. Those same qualities would be tested to the limit this season as we took a seat at the game’s top table for the very first time.

Would we end up staying for coffee and mints? Or would we all have to get our coats before the pudding?

Only time will tell as I follow my hometown club throughout their season in the top flight.

I have lived in Hull all my life. I have also been a Hull City supporter for as long as I can remember, I have my dad to thank for that legacy. Like most, it’s been a lifetime dream to see the Mighty Tigers play alongside the elite of English football in the top flight. Last year, for the first time in our history we played at Wembley, we won at Wembley and we went on to the Promised Land as a result. I was determined not only to see it all but also to write my story about our history making season. I hope you enjoy the book. Peter Lowsley
